SMAIT Al Uswah Bangil Visits UIN Malang's Faculty of Science and Technology, Students are Introduced to the World of Campus and Study Prospects

FST UIN Maliki Malang - (18/11/2025) Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) State Islamic University (UIN) Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang received a school visit from IT Al Uswah Bangil, Pasuruan. The activity which took place at the 4th Floor South Auditorium at 12.30 WIB was attended by 52 students and 7 accompanying teachers.

The group was welcomed by the Vice Dean III for student affairs and cooperation Dr. Akyunul Jannah. S.Si., MP, who in her speech introduced the study programs in the Faculty of Science and Technology, ranging from Physics, Mathematics, to a number of other disciplines that are the foundation of science development at UIN Malang. He hopes that this visit can provide a real picture of the academic atmosphere of higher education for students. “We want students to see the campus world firsthand and understand the study opportunities they can pursue in the field of science,” Akyun said.

After remarks from the faculty, the event continued with the presentation of material from each head of the study program. The Heads of Study Programs explained the scientific character in each department, graduate competencies, and career prospects. The session was interactive with a number of questions asked by students regarding the learning process, laboratory activities, and research opportunities at the student level.

Also present at the event was the Head of Admissions of UIN Malang Muhammad Jamaluddin, M.Si, who gave a speech as well as introducing the development of UIN Malang Campus 3. In his presentation, Jamal said that the process of building a new campus is still ongoing, including the improvement of road infrastructure, some of which are still damaged. “Although the road access to the location is not yet fully ideal, it does not hinder the construction process of Campus 3. In fact, this is part of our commitment to provide wider and more representative educational facilities for students,” said Jamal.

After the presentation session, the students were invited to tour the learning facilities at the Faculty of Science and Technology. They got the opportunity to see firsthand the academic environment that is the daily life of UIN Malang students.

Through this visit, the faculty hopes that IT Al Uswah students can gain inspiration about future study options and be better prepared for higher education. This activity also strengthens the relationship between UIN Malang and partner schools in an effort to advance science literacy among students. (Beautiful)
