Malang - December 5, 2025, the Environmental Engineering Study Program held an activity entitled workshop Eco Enzyme Preneur. This activity took the theme From Waste to Profit was held in the Forest Campus III. This activity was attended by hundreds of students of the Environmental Engineering study program as an effort to open students' insights regarding opportunities for processing organic waste into environmentally friendly products with economic value.

This activity presented two speakers, Darmawan Kusuma Atmaja and Mukhlis Fahruddin, who gave a presentation as well as practical assistance in making eco-enzyme. Through this activity, students were invited to directly understand the process of processing household organic waste into eco-enzyme, starting from the production stages, environmental benefits, to the potential for development as an entrepreneurial product.

In addition to enriching technical knowledge, this activity also emphasizes the importance of the role of the younger generation in creating sustainable solutions to environmental problems. Eco-enzyme is considered to have great potential not only as an alternative to waste management, but also as a business opportunity in line with green economy principles. The purpose of this activity is to encourage workshop participants to develop environmental-based innovations while fostering a sustainability-oriented entrepreneurial spirit. (beautiful/br)
