FST UIN Maliki Malang - (26/11/2025) The Faculty of Science and Technology, State Islamic University (UIN) Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang held a guest lecture entitled “Integrity Zone is Not Just a Label: Cultivating Values, Maintaining Trust” at the faculty meeting room, involving lecturers and staff of the Integrity Zone (ZI) as participants.
The event presented resource person Endrika Widyastuti, S.Pt, M.Sc, M.P, Ph.D, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs FTP Brawijaya University. On this occasion he gave a presentation on the urgency of integrity zone development in the higher education environment. At the core, he also explained that the development of integrity zones is an obligation for all service units under the ministry, including directorates, academic colleges, and higher education service units. He emphasized that integrity zones are not just a series of documents or slogans, but a sustainable work culture that must be reflected through public services and institutional governance.
In his remarks, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology Dr. Agus Mulyono, M.Kes reiterated the importance of the moral commitment of the entire academic community to the value of integrity. “Actually, we at UIN Malang are the ones who must be an example in upholding integrity. However, its implementation often goes unnoticed. This is what we need to maintain together,” said the Dean in his speech.
After the presentation of the material, the activity continued with a question and answer session. The participants enthusiastically asked various questions related to integrity zone implementation strategies, challenges in the field, and steps to strengthen antibureaucratic and anti-corruption values in the faculty environment.
This activity is expected to strengthen the collective awareness of the academic community of the Faculty of Science and Technology UIN Malang to consistently maintain integrity and improve the quality of higher education services. (Niz)
