Faculty of Science and Technology Establishes Steps Towards the Integrity Zone Through ZI WBK Preliminary Assessment

FST UIN Maliki Malang - (14/01/2025) Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) State Islamic University (UIN) Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang participated in the preliminary assessment of ZI WBK conducted by the Verifier Team of the Directorate General of Islamic Education. The assessment activity was held on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 and took place in the Conference Room of the Faculty of Science and Technology, 1st Floor with an implementation time of 09.00-11.00 WIB. This preliminary assessment is part of the assessment stage in an effort to strengthen governance and improve institutional integrity within state Islamic religious universities.

The Verifier Team from the Directorate General of Islamic Education who conducted the assessment this time were Wahyuni & Zulfi Ali Akbar with an online assessment. This assessment activity was attended directly by the leadership of the Faculty of Science and Technology, PLT Vice Rector II UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, Dr. Zainal Habib, M. Hum., Head of the Internal Supervision Unit (SPI), Dr. Ridwan, S.Ag., M.Pd.I., and his secretary, Dr. Ahmad Dini Hidayatullah, M.Pd and the entire PMPZI team.

In this activity, the Faculty of Science and Technology explained various aspects that became the focus of the PMPZI assessment, including institutional governance, public services, strengthening performance accountability, and efforts to prevent corrupt practices within the faculty. The verification process was carried out through document review, data clarification, and discussions with leadership elements and related teams.

The implementation of this assessment is part of the commitment of the Faculty of Science and Technology of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang in supporting the development of the Integrity Zone towards a Corruption-Free Area. Through this process, the faculty is expected to continue to improve the quality of governance, transparency, and academic and administrative services.

With the implementation of verification by the Directorate General of Islamic Education Team, the Faculty of Science and Technology confirms its readiness to actively contribute to the ZI WBK program as part of efforts to create a clean, accountable, and excellent service-oriented higher education institution.
