FST UIN Malang - (22/9/2025) The Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang has reaffirmed its commitment in improving the quality of services and enriching the academic experience for all its members. This was realized through an important meeting with the Regional Public Company (Perumda) Tugu Tirta Malang City which was held today. The meeting discussed strategic cooperation plans that are expected to bring broad benefits to students, lecturers, and education staff.
Led by Vice Dean II Dr. Imam Tazi, M.Si., the main agenda discussed was the provision of free drinking water facilities in the faculty environment. This initiative not only supports a healthy lifestyle, but is also a real step towards an environmentally friendly campus. The presence of this service is expected to add comfort while fostering awareness of the academic community towards the importance of sustainability.
Moreover, the cooperation with Perumda Tugu Tirta also opens up wider academic development opportunities, ranging from Field Work Practice (PKL) programs, internships, to practicum activities. This opportunity is a golden door for FST students to gain direct experience in the world of work and deepen their skills according to their field of study.
In his speech, Dr. Imam Tazi emphasized that this collaboration is part of FST's strategy to continue building networks with various external partners. "We want to bring real benefits, not only for students, but also for the institutions and partners involved," he said.
Appreciation also came from the Vice Dean I for Academic Affairs, Mrs. Akyun, who considered this collaboration as a positive step in supporting FST's vision as a faculty that is adaptive, innovative, and responsive to the times.
