FST-UIN Malang (19/08/2024) The Faculty of Science and Technology of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang held an Odd Semester Lecture Preparation Briefing for the 2024/2025 Academic Year. The event was held at the North Auditorium 1st Floor of the B.J. Habibie Building, and started at 09.00 WIB until completion.

This activity was attended by the rector, vice rector for academic affairs, dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology along with the vice deans, Head of Study Program, and lecturers who teach courses in the Faculty of Science and Technology study program. This briefing aims to prepare for the upcoming odd semester lectures, as well as ensuring that the entire academic community has the same understanding of the policies and targets to be achieved. On this occasion, the leaders of the rector or vice rector emphasized the implementation of the integration of Islam and science which must really be done in accordance with the scientific context of each study program.

The Quality Assurance Unit (UPM) also gave a presentation regarding the achievements of lecturers in each study program. Several awards were given to lecturers with the most favorite lecturer criteria and lecturers with the highest number of publications during the previous academic year. The favorite lecturer category is obtained through the results of the 3 highest cumulative indexes in each study program, while the most publications are seen from the number of publications that have been indexed by Google Scholar during the 2024 period. With this briefing, it is hoped that all teaching staff can carry out their duties better and optimally in order to support the learning process at the Faculty of Science and Technology UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang.
