FST UIN Malang - (20/02/2026) The Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang signed a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) with PT Komputesta at 08.00 WIB, located in the 1st Floor Conference Room of the Faculty of Science and Technology.

The event was attended by official representatives from PT Komputesta and the management involved in the collaboration. Also present were Armawati Cen as Consumer Business Development Manager of AMD Indonesia and Donnie Brahmandika as Product Marketing Manager of AMD Indonesia. The team from Komputesta were also present, namely Eldiana Martha Rosa (Project Manager), Ilham Azmil (Event & KOL Specialist), Muhammad Rayes (Event & KOL Specialist), and Muhammad Bintang (Production Officer).

From the faculty, this activity was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology, Vice Dean II FST Mrs. Akyun, Head of the Informatics Undergraduate Study Program, and Head of the Informatics Master Study Program.

The event began with remarks from the Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology who emphasized the importance of collaboration between universities and the industrial world in responding to the challenges of increasingly dynamic technological developments. According to him, synergy with industrial partners is a strategic step in strengthening student competence, expanding access to professional practice, and encouraging the development of applied research that is relevant to market needs.

The representative of PT Komputesta expressed his appreciation for the establishment of the cooperation. He emphasized the company's commitment to support the implementation of academic activities, including internship programs, training in the latest technology, strengthening the campus digital ecosystem, to collaborative events and developing student talents in the field of informatics.

The presence of AMD Indonesia representatives in this activity also strengthens the strategic value of cooperation, especially in supporting the utilization of the latest computing technology for learning activities, research, and laboratory development in FST.

The signing of the PKS was carried out by the parties as a form of official agreement to carry out cooperation in accordance with the mutually agreed scope. The procession took place in an orderly and smooth manner, followed by a documentation session and a brief discussion on the collaborative program follow-up plan.

Through this signing, the Faculty of Science and Technology of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang and PT Komputesta emphasized their joint commitment in building a sustainable partnership to support the improvement of the quality of education, strengthening the competitiveness of graduates, and closer links between academia and industry.
