The LoI marks the beginning of a partnership that aims to foster mutual understanding and promote joint academic and research initiatives.

The agreement signed by representatives from both institutions covers several key areas of collaboration. These include joint academic and research activities, student and staff development programs, community service projects, commercialization and marketing of joint projects, as well as other collaborations at both national and international levels.

As part of this agreement, both institutions agreed to send delegations, led by their respective deans or designated representatives, to visit each other's campuses. These visits will be a platform to discuss and plan future collaborative efforts. Details of each visit will be arranged separately.

Dr. Ririen Kusumawati from UIN Malang and Ts. Dr. Nur Haliza Abdul Wahab from UTM have been appointed as liaisons to facilitate the implementation of this collaboration. They are responsible for handling any issues that may arise in the context of the agreement.

This LoI, which is non-binding, will be valid for two years, with the possibility of revision or extension based on mutual agreement. Both parties expressed their enthusiasm for the opportunities that will arise from this partnership, not only in terms of academic growth but also in contributing to society through collaborative service projects.
