Malang - December 24, 2025 Located in the Quality Assurance Agency (LPM) room of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, 4th floor Rectorate Building, a number of study programs (Prodi) within the Faculty of Science and Technology continue to finalize accreditation preparations through activities to prepare Study Program Performance Reports (LKPS) and Self Evaluation Reports (LED). The activity was attended by Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Environmental Engineering Study Programs. This activity is a strategic step in realizing and ensuring that the entire accreditation process runs systematically, measurably, and in line with the standards set by the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT).
The preparation of LKPS and LED documents is considered very fundamental in providing a comprehensive and data-based overview of the performance, achievements, and development of study programs. Rosihan Anwar, as the LPM facilitator, said that the preparation of LKPS is not just filling in tables, but the preparation of documents that also reflect the academic quality, governance, and achievements of the tridarma of higher education in each study program. According to him, LKPS must be supported by valid, consistent, and traceable data. Meanwhile, LED needs to present a critical analysis of the real conditions of study programs, including excellence, challenges, and sustainable development strategies. With this approach, the accreditation document is expected to not only meet the assessment standards, but also have strategic value for improving institutional quality.
In addition to the presentation of material, there were also discussion sessions and document review involving internal faculty assessors and study program representatives. Participants actively discussed various indicators of accreditation assessment, ranging from aspects of governance and cooperation, lecturer and education staff resources, learning processes, to graduate performance.
Agus Mulyono, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology emphasized the importance of focused teamwork and synchronization between work units in preparing accreditation documents. Each study program is encouraged to identify areas that still need improvement, clarify data, strengthen analytics, and develop achievement targets according to the required quality standards. Through this stage, the Faculty of Science and Technology is committed to maintaining and improving the quality of higher education in order to achieve superior accreditation and produce graduates who have global competitiveness.
