Malang-A new spirit blows in the Faculty of Science and Technology UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. In the midst of the passage of time, the baton of leadership officially passed from Prof. Dr. Sri Harini, M.Si to Dr. Agus Mulyono, M.Kes on August 15, 2025. A regeneration process that routinely occurs every five years, but still holds new hopes and energy for the entire academic community.

In a warm atmosphere full of kinship, Agus Mulyono, who is familiarly called Gus Mul, began his tenure with a heartfelt step, providing direct motivation to all education personnel (admin) in a special meeting held in the First Floor Conference Room (19/8). With a simple but meaningful style of speech, Gus Mul opened the session with a strong message, "what is needed is not a superman, but a super team" he said.

A statement that directly emphasizes that the success of the institution does not rest on one individual, but on the cohesiveness and solid collaboration of all elements involved.

As the former Head of the Integration Center, Gus Mul brought the spirit of integration into a real movement, rebuilding togetherness through worship. He invited all education personnel to re-routine congregational prayers at the At-Tarbiyah Mosque, especially at Dhuhr and Asr times. A simple invitation that is believed to strengthen relationships, unite vision, and sow a more sincere and blessed work spirit.

"Compactness starts from small things. If we can gather in the mosque, we can also be compact in the workspace," he explained, greeted by smiles and enthusiastic nods from the administrators. More than that, the Physics lecturer also emphasized the new direction in work procedures, all education personnel will be directed to focus on their respective main tasks and functions (tusi). No more overlapping work, no more confusion or obscurity. Each individual will have daily work targets that are measurable and can be evaluated fairly and transparently.

But it's not just about the work system, Gus Mul emphasizes the importance of openness in work. He delivered a message that is very relevant in building a healthy team. "In working, there should be no lies between us. If there is a problem, convey it. Don't secretly create gaps between us. Let's solve it together." he said.

The statement is not just an invitation, but also a work philosophy, that honesty, communication, and goodwill will be a solid foundation in building a positive work culture.

The 90-minute meeting became more than just a briefing forum. It turned into a space for reflection, a space for renewal of spirit, and a space for forming a common determination. In front of the education staff, Gus Mul emphasized his big mission, realizing the Faculty of Science and Technology as a superior faculty with an international reputation.

A big dream that cannot be achieved alone, it takes a solid team. As Gus Mul believed, if everyone moves together, nothing is impossible. The faces present radiated a new optimism. There was a different energy. There is a belief that change is not just a discourse, but something that will begin, that very day.
