Ethical Clearance (ethical clearance) is an instrument to measure the ethical acceptability of a series of research processes and the appropriateness of the content of scientific publications. The review of ethical clearance in scientific research is a guide for researchers in planning the implementation of scientific research. Ethical clearance in research and publication aims to help researchers to
avoid mistakes and violations of the researcher's code of ethics, either
in the stages of research design, implementation, and reporting as well as in the dissemination of research results (scientific publications) by conducting self assessment.

Research that includes humans as subjects and experimental animals as subjects must be in accordance with the ethical principles of health research and development whose results can be used as a support for health services in order to realize the highest degree of public health. Therefore, it is important for the Research Ethics Committee (KEP) of the Faculty of Science and Technology UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang to provide services, research reviews, especially for students of the Faculty of Science and Technology UIN Maulana Malk Ibrahim Malang who conduct research using experimental animals and plants or include humans as research subjects.
