FST-UIN Malang (10/09/2023) The Faculty of Science and Technology (Saintek) UIN Maliki Malang held an Islamic science integration madrasa activity which was held on September 04 to 07, 2023, by carries With the theme of building a paradigm of integration of Islamic science and science in higher education, this event is an annual event of the Faculty of Science and Technology that is always well received by the participants.

The event, which took place in the meeting building on the 1st floor of the Faculty of Science and Technology, presented several experts in the integration of science and Islam, including presenters from the Uin Maliki Malang campus Prof.Dr. Zainuddin, M.A. Dr. Begum Fauziyah, M.Farm. Dr.H. Ahmad Barizi, M.A. Dr.Umayatus syarifah, M.A. Dr.H. Agus Mulyono, S.Pd, M.Kes and speakers from outside the Uin Maliki Malang campus Prof. Sutiman B. Sumitro, D.Sc. Prof. Dr.Rd. Mulyadi Kartanegara. Prof.Dr.KH. Nasaruddin Umar, M.A. Muh. Al-Fayadl (Gus Fayadl)

The event began with the opening of Ummul Kitab, singing the Indonesia Raya song and then followed by the recitation of the holy verses of the Qur'an. The opening remarks were given by Mr. Oky Bagas Prasetyo, M.Pd.I as the Chairperson of the organizers who explained the Islamic science integration madrasa activities, thanks to all the speakers both from the Uin Maliki Malang campus, or from outside and thanks to the participants both from the Uin Malang campus itself and from outside the uin campus, both those who work as lecturers, teachers, students and not forgetting too. this event was held in Hybrid, and gave door prizes of 5 books at each event, for 5 active participants and selected by the committee.

Dr. Anton Prasetyo, M.Si as the person in charge also gave a speech at the event in his speech explained that the most urgent program on this campus is the integration of science and Islam, in this context the Faculty of Science and Technology must have the power of integration of science and Islam, that is why, it is necessary to present speakers who are pakem in their fields. Both speakers from experts in the fields of technology, science and practitioners, or even from the spiritual side.

According to Anita Andriya Ningsih. M.Pd as Secretary said Science and technology are not only used to build human civilization, but also participate in bringing synthesis to faith in God, but science and technology will damage humans if humans use science and technology incorrectly, resulting in havoc and a source of destruction of mankind, so there is no other word but to integrate science and technology with religion.

With the theme of building a paradigm of integration of Islamic science and science in higher education through madrasah integration of Islamic science, this event is expected to be able to help lecturers and teachers when teaching their knowledge to students and students, how the Quran and hadith are sources of inspiration, and have a higher position than science itself. At the end of the activity, Dr. Anton as the person in charge expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the team from the Islamic science integration madrasa, so that this event could be held well, and hopefully the main objectives of this activity could be achieved well. And my message to everyone is that all the paradigms of the integration of Islamic science and science reviewed by experts will not work in practice if we are absent in building the integration of our knowledge into our lives, both in society, especially to our students. as an entity called Islamic science integration.
