The 12^th International Conference Green Technology (ICGT) UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang was held again by Faculty of Science and Technology at Savana HotelWednesday (26/10). This annual event, which has been going on for more than a decade, is an activity organized to accommodate the academic community in developing international journals.

This activity carries the theme Empowering Innovative Science and Technology for Future Enviromental Perspective by presenting five keynote speakers and four plenary speakers from Indonesia to abroad with science and technology backgrounds. This annual event aims to provide a platform for researchers, scientists, and academics to contribute to the development of environment-based empowerment. Green Technology to continue to create new innovations in science and technology.

ICGT 2022 Chairperson Dr. Elly Susanti M. Sc., said that the 12th ICGT series had been going on for approximately ten months before the peak of the activity Group Discussion Forum (FGD) on October 26-27, 2022. Starting with the selection of research proposals to the implementation of Student Competitive Research (RKM) for the first five to six months which was attended by 134 selected participants from all Study Programs in the Faculty of Science and Technology, as well as several participants from India and Thailand.

"Incidentally, this year the organizing committee from Mathematics Study ProgramTherefore, we work as much as possible with the entire Faculty of Science and Technology team to communicate the implementation of the 12th ICGT which has indeed become an icon of the Faculty of Science and Technology for 12 years running," explained the chief executive of ICGT 2022, who also serves as the head of the Mathematics study program.

Previously at ICGT 2021, only 34 papper ICGT 2022 proceedings, but not yet at the international level. This year, the work of ICGT 2022 will be published in international proceedings, Advanced Engineering Research (AER) owned by Atlatis Press which has been indexed Scopus and integrated with Springer Nature. The existence of this ICGT is also an effort to promote the Faculty of Science and Technology and UIN Malang to be recognized internationally through the active publication of scientific papers.

"We, the committee and the Faculty of Science and Technology, have also collaborated with the Atlantis Press international publishing team. So this year, all the research results that have been conferred with a total of 134 will be published in the AER international proceedings," he added. (Ferika/Dinda)
