Sema FST Ratifies Regional Regulations, Strengthens Synergy with the Executive in the Momentum of Breaking Bread Together

FST UIN Maliki Malang - (23/02/2026) The Student Senate of the Faculty of Science and Technology (SEMA FST) held an activity to ratify the Regional Regulation (PERDA) and break the fast with the FST Executive at 15.00-22.00 WIB at Hastag Coffee. This activity was attended by around 100 participants consisting of all SEMA FST members and faculty executives.

This activity is part of the implementation of SEMA FST's legislative function in compiling and determining the legal basis of the organization. The ratification of PERDA and internal provisions is intended to present clear and structured standards of rules for all elements of students in the Faculty of Science and Technology.

Chairman of SEMA FST, Muhammad Syauqiy Ridlo Syamkhobaruhin, said that the involvement of the executive in the signing process was a strategic step to strengthen the understanding between institutions.

“The mechanism of exposure per commission to signing with DEMA is proof of our transparency and synergy. We want to ensure that every article in the PERDA is understood and agreed upon by both the legislature and the executive before it is fully implemented,” said Syauqiy.

The event was opened by singing Indonesia Raya and Mars UIN, then continued with remarks from the Chairperson of SEMA FST. The core agenda in the form of exposure to PERDA and SEMA internal provisions was delivered gradually by each commission.

The presentation was started by Commission 2, followed by Commission 3, and Expert Staff. At the end of each session, a document signing procession was carried out by the Chairperson and Secretary of the Student Executive Board (DEMA) as a form of ratification and joint commitment in carrying out the regulations that have been prepared.

Entering Maghrib time, the activity was temporarily stopped to break the fast together and rest (ISHOMA). The atmosphere of togetherness seemed to color the moment, reflecting the spirit of collaboration between the legislature and the student executive.

After the break, the agenda continued with the last presentation by Commission 1. The series of activities was then closed with a documentation session with all SEMA FST functionaries and executives at 22.00 WIB.

Through the ratification of this PERDA, SEMA FST hopes that the governance of student organizations at the Faculty of Science and Technology can run more systematically, transparently, and in line with the principles of good governance. (FST Info)
