FST Students Join the Training “Starting MSMEs Export without Containers” with PT Bersama Indonesia Bisa

FST UIN Maliki Malang - (28/11/2025) The Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang followed up on the collaboration with PT Bersama Indonesia Bisa by organizing a training entitled “Starting an Export MSME without Containers.” This activity was attended by ORMAWA leaders and FST Faculty Ambassadors as ambassadors of change who will transmit export knowledge to student communities in each study program.

This training is a real implementation of the scope of PKS FST-PT Bersama Indonesia Bisa which includes the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, PKL, student and alumni internships, graduate job placement, training / certification, and curriculum review to be in line with industry needs. Through sessions that are designed to be practical and communicative, participants are invited to understand the first steps in building an export-oriented MSME network without having to rent a full container, starting from shipping consolidation/collaboration strategies, market mapping, to preparing competitive product quality and services.

In addition to conceptual understanding, the training emphasizes a global entrepreneurial mindset: how students start small, tap into an ecosystem of industry partners, and grow research- and technology-based businesses. It also paves the way for follow-up programs - internships, business mentoring, and job placement opportunities in relevant sectors as a bridge between classroom learning and job market dynamics.

FST hopes that this training will spark the birth of a community of young entrepreneurs on campus who dare to penetrate the export market, while still upholding the values of integrity and sustainability. In the future, the series of collaborations between FST-PT Bersama Indonesia Bisa will be expanded to practical classes, export clinics, and curricular activities so that many students directly experience the benefits of campus-industry partnerships.
