FST UIN Maliki Malang <\/strong>- (23\/10\/2025) The Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang held a Collaboration Discussion on Tri Dharma Activities with the Department of Computer Science and Electronics (DIKE), FMIPA, Gadjah Mada University. The activity took place in the meeting room on the third floor of FST and was attended by faculty leaders who in this case were represented by the Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Cooperation, Akyunul Jannah, as well as several lecturers in the Master of Informatics study program, S1 Informatics Engineering, and S1 Library and Information Science.<\/p>

In its presentation, DIKA UGM explained various partnership opportunities that included research collaboration, community service programs, and further study schemes. The Department of Computer Science and Electronics FMIPA UGM also explained the master's and doctoral programs that could be an option or opportunity for colleagues in the FST environment to conduct further studies including opportunities to participate in double degree programs and internal faculty scholarship options which in certain schemes can reach 100%.<\/p>

Dr. Akyunul Jannah, S.Si., M.P. as the vice dean I positively welcomed this plan. \u201cThis activity plan is a good opportunity that we should be able to immediately implement in the future through formal mechanisms in accordance with policies and regulations in both institutions.\u201d<\/em> he said. He added, strengthening networks with reference universities is the key to accelerating the quality of Tridharma within FST UIN Malang.<\/p>

\"\"Through this discussion, both parties confirmed their commitment to follow up on cooperation in the form of more operational programs ranging from the preparation of a joint research road map, guest lecture and practitioner schemes, cross-campus final project guidance, to capacity building for lecturers and students. The collaboration between FST UIN Malang and FMIPA UGM is expected to have a real impact on improving the quality of education, research productivity, and benefits for society.
