The review of ethical clearance in scientific research is a guide for researchers in planning the implementation of scientific research. Ethical clearance in research and publication aims to help researchers to<br \/>avoid mistakes and violations of the researcher's code of ethics, either<br \/>in the stages of research design, implementation, and reporting as well as in the dissemination of research results (scientific publications) by conducting\u00a0<em>self assessment<\/em>.<\/p><p>In accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 7 of 2016 concerning the National Health Research and Development Ethics Commission which states that health research and development<br \/>Research that includes humans as subjects and experimental animals as subjects must be in accordance with the ethical principles of health research and development whose results can be used as a support for health services in order to realize the highest degree of public health.
