FST UIN Maliki Malang - (21/10/2025) The Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) of Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University (UIN Maliki) Malang held an academic forum entitled “Madrasah Integration” with the theme “Islam, Science, and Human Civilization”. This activity took place in the Information Technology Conference Room, 3rd Floor of Bacharuddin Jusuf Habibie Building, UIN Maliki Malang Campus.

The forum that took place from 08.30 to 14.30 WIB presented three speakers, namely Dr. Umaiyatus Syarifah, MA and Dr. M. Imamudin, Lc., MA from UIN Maliki Malang, as well as Assoc. Prof. Dr. Shahir Akram Bin Hassan from Universiti Sains Malaysia.

During the event, the speakers and participants discussed the relationship between Islamic values, the development of science, and the dynamics of modern human civilization. Madrasah Integration became a forum for academics to emphasize the importance of balance between scientific rationality and spiritual values in the development of science.

In addition to discussing the concept of scientific integration, this forum also highlights the great contribution of Islamic civilization to global scientific progress. Through this activity, FST UIN Maliki seeks to foster new awareness of the importance of collaboration between religious and general sciences as the basis for building a civilized and ethical civilization.

This activity, which is open to the public and free of charge, is proof of UIN Maliki Malang's commitment to expanding access to knowledge for the community. Madrasah Integration is also part of the campus' steps in strengthening its vision as a superior Islamic university that integrates knowledge, faith, and charity. (Beautiful)
