FST-UIN Malang (13/04/2023) Following up on the appointment process from CPNS to civil servant status, the oath-taking and submission of Civil Servant Decrees were carried out on a number of Lecturers and Education Personnel within UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang for batch 2022. In total, the total number of CPNS in the UIN 2022 batch is 19 people with details of 14 Lecturers and 5 Education Personnel. The number of personnel is mostly Lecturers and Tendik who are placed in the Faculty of Science and Technology, namely 14 Lecturers and 1 Tendik. The oath-taking ceremony as well as the handover of the SK took place in the Lobby Lt. 1 Gd. Dr. (HC). The ceremony was directly conducted by the Rector, Prof. Dr. HM. Zainuddin, M.A. and at the same time directly followed by CPNS. The procession event was also attended by all leaders from both the central rectorate and faculty leaders within UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang.

There were happy and happy faces of the CPNS who took the oath and handed over the SK, this is considering their struggle starting from the initial selection process to this final stage which they did long enough, not to mention when we see the competition process which is not easy to qualify and succeed in becoming CPNS and even civil servants. On this occasion Prof. Dr. HM. Zainuddin, M.A. also conveyed and appealed to CPNS who have become civil servants (after being inaugurated) to always carry out mandates and responsibilities in accordance with what is their respective duties and functions. Civil servants in carrying out their daily duties must also be able to adapt to the environment of the Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang UIN campus, where the Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang UIN campus has the characteristic of integrating Islam and Technology. In the future Prof. Dr. HM. Zainuddin, M.A. also provides motivation that being a civil servant must always update and develop its abilities, given the developments and demands that exist, especially the regulations regarding the level of rank and career of civil servants from year to year have developed.

After taking the oath and handing over the SK, the CPNS officially became civil servants and part of the academic community at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. They then return to their respective places of duty. For the new civil servants in the Faculty of Science and Technology, they are spread across the Library and Information Science, Biology, Informatics Engineering, and Architectural Engineering study programs.
