Early Lecture Briefing FST UIN Maliki Malang Strengthens Academic Readiness for Even Semester of Academic Year 2025/2026

FST UIN Maliki Malang - (04/02/2026) The Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang held an Early Lecture Briefing for the Even Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year. The activity took place starting at 12.30 WIB in the South Auditorium, 4th Floor, BJ Habibie Building, FST UIN Malang.

This agenda is a routine faculty activity to prepare students and lecturers to welcome the start of even semester lectures. Through this activity, various information related to academic policies, lecture governance, and learning development directions are conveyed directly to the academic community.

The briefing activity presented the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, Prof. H. Basri, MA, Ph.D., as the main speaker. Also attending the activity was the Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology and the faculty leaders.

In his presentation, Prof. Basri emphasized the importance of student readiness in facing the learning process in the new semester. According to him, academic success is not only determined by intellectual ability, but also by discipline, time management, and commitment to learning.

“Students must start the even semester with good planning. The quality of lectures will be optimal if accompanied by seriousness and responsibility in following every academic process,” he said.

Meanwhile, the Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology said that FST has a distinctive character compared to other faculties. He emphasized that the main advantage of FST lies in the integration between the development of science and technology with Islamic values.

“The Faculty of Science and Technology not only equips students with scientific competence, but also instills Islamic integrity. This is the differentiator as well as the strength of FST in producing graduates who are professional and have character,” explained the Dean.

Furthermore, the Dean hopes that all students can take advantage of this even semester to improve academic achievement, develop skills, and be active in various positive activities in the campus environment.

The initial lecture briefing is expected to be a strong foundation for the implementation of academic activities within the Faculty of Science and Technology. With careful preparation, the learning process in even semesters is expected to run more effectively, purposefully, and with high quality. (Beautiful)
