Inauguration of Omik FST Management of UIN Maliki Malang Strengthens Student Service Commitment

FST UIN Maliki Malang - (03/02/2026) The Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang officially inaugurated the management of the Intra Campus Student Organization (OMIK) for the 2026 period. The activity organized by the FST Student Senate took place offline starting at 07.00 WIB, located in the FST South Auditorium.

This inauguration raised the theme One Management Bond, One Commitment to Service”. The theme is a reminder that the new management is expected to walk in one line: compact, solid, and truly carry out the mandate of the organization for the next period.

The event was also attended by faculty leaders, starting from the Dean of FST, Vice Dean III for Student Affairs and Cooperation Dr. Akyunul Jannah, S.Si, MP and the Heads of S1 Study Programs in FST, as well as OMIK administrators for the 2025 and 2026 periods.

The series of activities were opened directly by the Dean of FST. In his speech, he expressed his appreciation for the work of the previous period's management as well as encouraging the newly appointed management. According to him, student organizations have an important role as a space for learning leadership, strengthening soft skills, and a forum for developing creativity. Therefore, the new board is expected to be able to develop work programs that are innovative, productive, and in line with the vision and mission of the faculty.

“This inauguration is not just a ceremony, but the beginning of a great responsibility. I hope that all new administrators can work with dedication, maintain synergy, and have a positive impact on the progress of students and faculty,” said the Dean in his direction.

The inauguration procession took place solemnly through the reading of the management pledge and the symbolic handover of management to the heads of student organizations for the 2026 period. This moment also marks the beginning of the new management service period in mobilizing various student activities in the FST environment.

This inauguration is also an important momentum for leadership regeneration. We hope that the management of the 2026 period will be able to build a more solid collaboration between faculty leaders, study programs, and student organizations to support the improvement of achievement, creativity, and the creation of a positive academic atmosphere.
