FST UIN Maliki Malang - (27/11/2025) The Faculty of Science and Technology held an Ecocraft Product Exhibition as a joint movement towards a plastic waste-free campus. The event took place at 09.00-14.00 WIB on the 1st floor of the faculty building, presenting creative works resulting from the collaboration of lecturers and education staff with students from each study program.

As a form of active participation, 11 undergraduate study programs each sent two ecocraft works of at least 22 products that utilize environmentally friendly materials, recycled single-use plastics, and reusable functional designs. This exhibition is not just a showcase of work, but an invitation to change habits, reduce, reuse, and design solutions that benefit the campus community.

The event was opened by the Dean of FST, Dr. Agus Mulyono, M.Kes., and attended by the Vice Rector III for Student Affairs, Prof. H. Triyo Supriyatno, M.Ag. The presence of the leaders emphasized that the ecocraft initiative is part of the Integrity Zone Development innovation (PMPZI) within FST to encourage a clean, serving, and sustainable work culture.

To boost enthusiasm, the organizers prepared trophies, certificates, and prizes for the best works. But more than just awards, this exhibition celebrates the value of mutual cooperation across study programs: combining knowledge, creativity, and environmental awareness so that change can start from our own learning spaces.

Through the Ecocraft Exhibition, FST invites the entire community to make environmentally friendly practices a daily habit from reducing single-use plastics to designing durable solutions for a healthier, cleaner, and more inspiring campus. (Niz)
