The Multimedia Team from the Faculty of Science and Technology of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang developed a product to conduct interactive learning based on virtual reality system. The developed system can make users enter the virtual world and simulate the learning that has been provided. With the developed application, students will be more interested in the learning that is done because in the virtual world various actions and additional effects will add interest in the material presented so that students will more easily understand the material presented.

In addition, the multimedia team of the Faculty of Science and Technology also developed an Augmented Reality-based application that serves to introduce Islamic figures who became the junjungan of Muslims. In the application, the painting of the Islamic figure is scanned using the application and later a description and animation will appear describing the innovation developed by the figure.
