Profile of Islamic Science Integration
Assalamualaikum, wr. Wb.
Praise be to Allah SWT, who has given His mercy, guidance, and grace to all of us. Shalawat and salam may always be poured out to the Prophet Muhammad SAW, as a mercy for all nature.
In the rapid development of science and technology, the relationship between science and religion is increasingly becoming an important highlight. The Science and Islam Integration Laboratory is present as a concrete manifestation of efforts to harmonize scientific understanding and spiritual values in order to seek a more complete understanding of the world that Allah created.
The Science-Islam Integration Laboratory was initiated by the Faculty of Science and Technology of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, with the noble goal of bridging the gap between modern science and Islamic teachings. By combining the two, it is hoped that we can develop a deeper understanding of the events of the universe and other natural phenomena, while still maintaining spiritual meaning in our lives.
Through research, experiments, discussions, seminars (dissemination) and interdisciplinary collaboration, the Science and Islam Integration laboratory aims to weave a common thread between empirical knowledge and religious wisdom/consciousness. By prioritizing common sense and a sense of awe at the greatness of God's creation, it is hoped that we can find a more holistic understanding of how science and Islam can complement and enrich each other.
We would like to thank all those involved in the establishment and development of this laboratory. May our joint efforts be blessed by Allah SWT, and be a meaningful first step in paving the way towards a deeper understanding of the relationship between science and Islam.
We hope that the presence of this website, can be a fertile ground for brilliant ideas about science-islam integration, significant discoveries for the benefit of the ummah, and a deeper understanding of the wonders of the universe that Allah created and at the same time understanding His will. Hopefully, the presence of the science-islam integration laboratory website can provide tangible benefits for students, lecturers, science lovers and the wider community, so that it can lead us all to a more holistic understanding and deeper awareness of scientific truth and divine truth.
Wassalamu'alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.
