FST-UIN Malang (12/02/2024) As a preparatory step for the accreditation of study programs within the Faculty of Science and Technology, all levels of leadership of the Heads of S1 and S2 Study Programs, Secretaries of S1 and S2 Study Programs, and the Quality Assurance Unit (UPM) Team of the Faculty held a coordination meeting.
The purpose of this coordination meeting is to harmonize strategic steps and efforts in preparing for the upcoming accreditation field assessment. In this activity also discussed issues and challenges related to accreditation and the fulfillment of academic quality standards which include improving the quality of learning supported by strengthening administration and documentation.
On this occasion, the Head of LPM University emphasized the importance of collaboration and synergy between all parties involved in this accreditation process. The Vice Deans also provided views and input regarding the concrete steps that need to be taken by each study program. They emphasized the need for continuous improvement and innovation in the learning process and academic administration management. Meanwhile, the Heads of Study Programs and Secretaries of Study Programs submitted progress reports on each study program and discussed the obstacles faced and solutions that could be applied. This discussion is expected to result in a more focused and effective action plan. The Faculty UPM team plays an important role in ensuring that each study program meets the quality standards set by the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT). They provide technical guidance and support in drafting the documents required for the accreditation process.
This coordination meeting hopes that all elements in the Faculty of Science and Technology can work synergistically and purposefully in preparing for study program accreditation. This is important to maintain and improve the reputation of the faculty and provide a guarantee of better quality education to students. The Faculty of Science and Technology is optimistic that with careful preparation and good cooperation, study programs within the faculty will be able to achieve accreditation with satisfactory results.
