FST UIN Maliki Malang - (17/20/2025) The Faculty of Sanis and Technology of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang received a briefing from LPM regarding the alignment of vision, mission, and goals for all work units. This activity is a follow-up to the establishment of the university's new vision and mission based on the Rector's Decree Number 2458 of 2025.
The activity which took place in the Lt1 courtroom was attended by the leaders of the faculty and study programs within the Faculty of Sanis and Technology. Faculties and study programs are asked to compile and adjust the direction of their vision, mission and goals to be in line with the direction of university development.
In his direction, LPM emphasized the importance of this alignment process as a strategic step to face the challenges of globalization of higher education. “This is not just an editorial alignment, but an affirmation of a common direction towards a superior and internationally reputable university. The preparation of the vision of the work unit must reflect a real contribution to the achievements of the institution,” said one of the LPM representatives when giving directions.
In addition to developing a vision and mission, each is also asked to elaborate on the meaning of “excellence” and “international reputation” in the context of their respective tasks and work fields. This elaboration includes the preparation of strategic policies until 2029, as well as key performance indicators (KPIs) both qualitatively and quantitatively. (Niz)
