FST-UIN Malang (06/17/2023) As an effort to increase the productivity level of lecturers and education personnel, especially for those who occupy certain functional positions. The activity was held at Onsen Hotel Batu for 2 days, starting from June 16-17, 2023. The event was attended by a total of 38 lecturers and 17 education personnel who all consisted of various study programs and units within the Faculty of Science and Technology.

The background of this mentoring activity was held as an effort from the Faculty of Science and Technology to encourage publications among lecturers and employees. The activity was carried out in an incentive manner, where participants were given guidance regarding tricks and management in publications, especially on an international scale. The mentoring material was presented by several competent people including Prof. Dr. Eko Hadi Sujiono, M.Si. as an expert from ITS (Sepuluh November Institute of Technology) material related to publication tips and tricks and laboratory management governance. The second material was delivered by Mrs. Ernaning, M.T. material related to journal writing assistance and continued with Mr. Juhari, M.Si on this occasion presented how the architectural journal strategy got Q1 predita and also explained the phenomena of predatory journals. In this event also presented one of the lecturers, Mrs. Tri Harningsih. M.Sc., where she conveyed related to simple patent management for lecturers and education staff.

In general, the event ran smoothly and was enthusiastically followed by the participants. This can be seen from the enthusiasm of the audience in conducting questions and answers with the speakers in each session. It is hoped that from this activity the lecturers and education staff will be able to increase significantly in the publication of articles both on a national and international scale. (Niz)
