FST-UIN Malang (08/11/2023) In accordance with the rector's circular letter regarding the implementation of the ISO 9001: 2015 external audit on November 6-8, 2023, the Faculty of Science and Technology became one of the Faculties conducted Audit activities within UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. The External audit process was conducted by PT Decra Group Indonesia. The audit took place in the 1st Floor Conference Room of the Faculty of Science and Technology and was attended by the dean, Head of Study Program, Head and Secretary of UPM, Head of Administration and Head of Subdivision within the Faculty of Science and Technology.

The audit was conducted by Dr. Jani Rahardjo, Lecturer of S-1 Industrial Engineering, Petra University Surabaya. The parts of the audit process are the Faculty with elements of the Faculty Strategic Plan and Monev Renstra, while the Study Program includes elements of the curriculum, teaching and learning process, laboratories. As for some important points from the results of the External audit evaluation, namely First, for the Faculty, the making of Risk Management is carried out before faculty activities are carried out for the following year or after the monev of the current year ends because the basis is from the monev Renstra, making risk management not only the faculty makes but study programs also make even every lecturer and employee makes risk management for themselves. The second note for the study program is that in making exam questions, it must explain how to measure CPMK (Co) no. how, and the questions must be calibrated by allied lecturers, related to laboratories for submitting ISO 17025 laboratory accreditation must use calibrated equipment and check whether the period is still valid. submitted is the "Integrated Service Laboratory of Faculty of Science and Technology". As a general note to support the curriculum and learning system in each study program, UIN Mauana Malik Ibrahim Malang in the future must adjust the SIAKAD system based on OBE (Out Come Bassed Education). The hope with the external audit of ISO 9001: 2015 in UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang and the Faculty of Science and Technology in particular is expected to help improve the quality and efficiency of the Tridarma of Higher Education consisting of teaching education, and research and community service.
