Based on the conditions of the global pandemic or epidemic, it indicates a significant increase in the number of Covid-19 cases that occur in a short time that requires immediate handling. Handling and prevention efforts continue to be carried out in order to fight COVID-19 with various approaches, one of which is by making Anti-Virus Mist (KAVi). KAVi is a set of tools that has a working system like a nebulizer. Nebulizers are commonly used to vaporize medicinal fluids for people with respiratory disorders such as asthma, flu, and others. KAVi is useful for weakening viruses by turning 70% alcohol particles into smog that can kill germs and viruses in 20 seconds. The Anti Virus Fog (KAVi) system works by spraying smog into the air so that it can bind bacteria and viruses that are all over the outer body including clothes and pants.
KAVi UIN Malang was inspired by the Nebulizer (steam device for asthma). This tool vaporizes liquid medicine using ultrasonic vibrations. Likewise KAVi, this tool has a main component which is an ultrasonic mist maker. The ultrasonic mist maker has a vibration frequency of 1.6 MHz, meaning that this component will vibrate 1.6 million times per second. When this ultrasonic vibrator is inserted into the liquid and connected to electricity, the liquid will vibrate 1.6 million times per second. As a result, the liquid will become a cold vapor (fog) with a particle size of 1 micron. Furthermore, the vapor is pushed by the fan towards the property.
So in principle this tool is very simple and everyone can make it. A week ago we made a tutorial video on YouTube. We hope that with this tutorial on how to make KAVi, everyone can make it, because we intend to serve not for business. Even this tool can be made at a very low cost, only at a cost of Rp. 800,000 this tool can be made, of course not including the booth. The advantages of KAVi compared to other spray booths are: Safer for the body, does not wet clothes and body, steam / fog is more evenly distributed to the entire surface of the body, just enter the booth between 10 - 25 seconds, cheaper prices, very easy to make, small shape, easy to carry anywhere and much smaller electric power (saving electricity).
