FST UIN Maliki Malang - (21/02/2026) Biology Study Program Student Association (HMPS) “Red Ant” UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang held a FLORA (Member Friendly Organization Silaturrahmi Forum) activity, located at Allure Cafe & Eatery. This event was attended by 60 students who are the administrators of HMPS Biology period 2026, with the aim of strengthening the relationship between administrators and building a solid foundation for the smooth running of the organization in the future.
FLORA is an important moment to start the management period by uniting the vision and strengthening togetherness between the old and new administrators, especially the 2026 students. In addition to being a gathering place and breaking the fast together, this activity also focused on the introduction between divisions, discussion of work programs, and the election of chief executives for each work program that will be implemented during one management period.
The series of events began with a warm welcome from the Chairperson of HMPS Biology “Red Ant” 2026, Chumairo Al Muyassaroh, who underlined the importance of FLORA as a strategic first step in strengthening the organization. “The association exists not only as an organizational forum, but as a space to learn, grow, process, and train leadership, teamwork, and responsibility. Hopefully this event will be the first moment of collaboration and togetherness, creating a more active, innovative, and outstanding HMPS,” said Chumairo.
After the opening, the event continued with the introduction of the Daily Executive Board and continued with discussions per division to design a more focused and realistic work program. A game session warmed up the atmosphere, followed by an intimate iftar together. This forum was closed with an event sayonara to symbolize the end of FLORA activities.
This activity received positive appreciation from the Head of Student Center of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, Romi Faslah, who emphasized that this kind of gathering forum is very important in building a collaborative and friendly organizational culture. “A strong organization is born from togetherness and good communication from the start. When the management can unite their vision and commitment, the work program that is carried out will be more focused and have a positive impact on students,” he said.
With the running of FLORA activities, it is hoped that HMPS Biology “Red Ant” can continue to strengthen the synergy between administrators and create work programs that are beneficial to students and bring the organization to more glorious achievements. (Niz)
