Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang Officially Opens the 18th Cycle of AMI Activities

Faculty of Science and Technology (Saintek) State Islamic University (UIN) Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang officially opened the Cycle 18 Internal Quality Audit (AMI) activities on Tuesday, August 19, 2025. Located in the Meeting Room Lt. 1 Faculty of Science and Technology, this event took place with great enthusiasm, colored by the joint commitment of the entire academic community in improving the quality and governance of superior education.

The opening ceremony was attended by the faculty leadership, starting from the Vice Deans, the Heads and Secretaries of the Study Programs at the S-1 and S-2 levels, the Head of the Faculty Quality Assurance Unit (UPM), the Head of Administration, and functional from various units, including PTP, Archivists, and APK APBN. The presence of these stakeholders is clear evidence of synergy and seriousness in implementing the internal quality assurance cycle.

This activity was officially opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology, Dr. Agus Mulyono, M.Kes, who on that occasion also gave a speech to all participants who attended. His presence and direction are a form of full support from the faculty leadership for the implementation of sustainable AMI. The speech also marked the beginning of the series of activities, as part of a joint effort to build a culture of quality within the Faculty of Science and Technology UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang.

"With the implementation of AMI Cycle 18, we hope that all elements in the Faculty of Science and Technology will be more solid in improving academic and non-academic services, as part of the effort to realize UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang as a leading Islamic educational institution at the national and global levels," said Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Anton Prasetyo.

The Internal Quality Audit will take place over the next few days, with the main agenda of reviewing the suitability and effectiveness of the implementation of quality standards in each study program and work unit. Through this activity, the Faculty of Science and Technology emphasizes its commitment to continuous, transparent, and accountable quality improvement in order to create a superior and highly competitive academic environment.
