Faculty of Science and Technology UIN Maliki Malang Receives Campus Study Visit from Ma PPMI Assalaam Sukoharjo

FST UIN Maliki Malang - (30/10/2025) The Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) of Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University (UIN Maliki) Malang received a campus study visit from Madrasah Aliyah PPMI Assalaam Sukoharjo. The activity which took place at the 4th Floor Auditorium of the Faculty of Science and Technology was attended by 67 students of class XII along with 6 accompanying teachers.

The visit was part of the MA PPMI Assalaam Sukoharjo Education Service Program Team Work Program. The aim is to provide insight to students regarding new student admissions and get to know more closely the various study programs at the Faculty of Science and Technology UIN Maliki Malang.

The event was officially opened by Dr. Akyunul Jannah, as the Vice Dean III of the Faculty of Science and Technology. In his remarks, he expressed his appreciation and gratitude for the visit made by the madrasah.

“We are very pleased to receive a visit from MA PPMI Assalaam Sukoharjo. Hopefully this activity will become a gathering event as well as provide inspiration for students to continue their studies at UIN Maliki Malang, especially at the Faculty of Science and Technology,” said Dr. Akyunul Jannah in her speech.

On this occasion, Dr. Akyunul Jannah also introduced various excellent study programs in the faculty, including Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics. Each study program also provided material about the department profile, academic excellence, and career prospects for graduates in the field of science and technology.

The participants seemed enthusiastic following the series of events that took place from 09.00 to 11.00 WIB. Interactive question and answer sessions between participants and speakers added to the lively activities, especially when discussing research and scholarship opportunities in the green campus environment of UIN Maliki Malang.

This campus study activity is expected to broaden the academic horizons of the students as well as strengthen the relationship between the world of secondary education and higher education. The Faculty of Science and Technology of UIN Maliki Malang continues to be committed to opening spaces for collaboration and introducing science education based on Islamic values to the younger generation.
