FST-UIN Malang (10/08/2024) The Faculty of Science and Technology of Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University Malang (UIN Maliki) held a Laboratory Revitalization Workshop within the Faculty of Science and Technology of PTKIN throughout Indonesia. The activity was held for three days from Thursday to Saturday, August 8-10, 2024, at the Wyndham Hotel Surabaya, Jalan Basuki Rachmat.
This activity was held with the spirit and determination to voice to the government the need for revitalization and development of laboratory equipment in all Faculties of Science and Technology in PTKIN throughout Indonesia. In connection with this, the Faculty of Science and Technology UIN Maliki invites all PTKIN leaders to assign the Dean and his staff to participate in this workshop. The presence of these leaders is very important in supporting the success of the event and strengthening the joint commitment in improving the quality of the laboratory as a center of education and research in PTKIN. On this occasion also attended by the Rector of UIN Maliki Prof. Dr. H.M. Zainuddin M.A, where he fully supports this workshop activity.
There are important materials presented by several speakers in this workshop. The first is related to laboratory development strategies delivered by the Director of Higher Education of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia Prof. Ahmad Zainul Hamdi, M.Ag, the second is about strengthening laboratories to strengthen institutional recognition of institutions delivered by the Deputy for Human Development, Society and Culture of the Ministry of PPN / Bappenas Drs. Amich Alhumami, M.A. Med, Ph.D, and the third is the delivery of material related to laboratory revitalization planning delivered by the coordinator of PTKI Budget planning Directorate General of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia Mr. Novardy, S.Kom. This workshop was closed with an evaluation of the revitalization budget and the signing of a memorandum of agreement for all PTKIN Faculty of Science and Technology Deans.
Aside from being a forum for designing
In addition to a joint revitalization policy, this workshop is also an opportunity for friendship, exchanging experiences and ideas between participants from various PTKIN in Indonesia. With this collaboration, it is hoped that the Faculty of Science and Technology at PTKIN can increase its competitiveness and be able to answer the challenges of future developments in science and technology.
Through this activity, the Faculty of Science and Technology of UIN Maliki hopes to make a significant contribution in improving the quality of education and research at PTKIN throughout Indonesia, especially in modern and innovative laboratory management. (Niz)
