FST-UIN Malang (05/17/2024) The entire leadership, staff, and Quality Assurance Unit (UPM) of the Faculty of Science and Technology conducted benchmarking activities at UIN Mataram and the University of Mataram. Benchmarking activities are carried out as a step to measure themselves for everything that is done at the Faculty of Science and Technology and especially at the University of Mataram. The first bechmarking was conducted at UIN Mataram, which on this occasion was directly welcomed by the Quality Assurance Institute (LPM) UIN Mataram. Activities are carried out with a discussion and sharing model which includes how the role and achievements of LPM UIN Mataram so far and also shared experiences related to learning which in this context is the implementation of the curriculum at UIN Mataram. On this occasion, the Faculty of Science and Technology and UPM also shared experiences in terms of Faculty management and the role of UPM as a quality assurer within the Faculty of Science and Technology.

The second bechmarking activity continued at the University of Mataram. Bechmarking at the University of Mataram is broadly speaking related to opportunities for cooperation that can be carried out, especially with the Faculty of Science and Technology. As far as cooperation opportunities are discussed, they are more focused on research and publications, in this case how both parties can support each other in efforts to increase publications among the academic community. In addition, on this occasion, the Faculty of Science and Technology had the opportunity to visit the Faculty of Engineering there and obtain information on how the governance system reached the achievement of Superior accreditation, especially for the Civil Engineering Study Program.

With this benchmarking activity, it is hoped that FST UIN Malang can continue to improve the quality of education and faculty management, as well as establish cooperation with various parties, especially in this context with UIN Mataram and Mataram University. (Niz)
