FST-UIN Malang (11/12/2023) Based on Task Letter Number 3830/FST/KP.01.4/12/2023, a Benchmarking Visit on Improving Study Program Accreditation at UIN Alaudin Makassar was carried out which was attended by 9 participants consisting of the Dean, Deputy Deans, Head of Administration, Commitment Making Officer and Sub-Section Coordinators at the Faculty of Science and Technology UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. This activity was held on December 16 to 18, 2023.

In this benchmarking activity we were welcomed by the leaders of the Faculty of Science and Technology UIN Alaudin Makassar consisting of the Dean, Vice Deans, Heads of Study Programs, Secretaries of Study Programs, Heads of Administration and Administrative Staff. The Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology UIN Alaudin Makassar, Ar. Fahmyddin A'raf Tauhid, M.Arch., Ph.D in his speech explained in detail about the Faculty profile and conveyed how tips to improve the accreditation of Study Programs that have been carried out at the Faculty of Science and Technology UIN Alaudin Makassar including:

1. Lecturer Quality Improvement: The Faculty of Science and Technology of UIN Alaudin Makassar has a lecturer training and development program that focuses on improving competence and teaching quality.
2. Use of Technology in Learning: The faculty has integrated information technology in the learning process, improved accessibility of materials, and facilitated distance learning.
3. Continuous Monitoring and Evaluation System: There is an effective system for regular monitoring and evaluation of the performance of the Study Program, quickly responding to problems and improvements.
4. Fulfillment of Facilities and Infrastructure is also very important in supporting the improvement of accreditation of the Study Program.

The Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang was very grateful for the welcome and delivery of information provided by the Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology UIN Alaudin Makassar, he also submitted recommendations that could be concluded from the presentation, including:

1. Implement Lecturer Training Program: Adopt lecturer training and development programs to improve competencies and teaching quality.
2. Integration of Learning Technology: Evaluate the use of technology in learning, and consider further integration of technology.
3. Implementation of Monitoring and Evaluation System: Implement a sustainable monitoring and evaluation system to improve the quality of the Study Program.
4. Sharing Best Practices: Increasing cooperation in the field of Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi with the Faculty of Science and Technology UIN Alaudin Makassar in a sustainable manner.

And this benchmarking activity is expected to make a positive contribution to the efforts of the Faculty of Science and Technology UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang in improving the accreditation of the Study Program. At the end of the activity we went around the Campus of the Faculty of Science and Technology UIN Alaudin Makassar to see the Facilities and Infrastructure owned for us to take as an example to meet the Facilities and Infrastructure in our institution so that the increase in accreditation of the Study Program can be achieved.
