Accreditation Workshop: Review of LKPS & LED in accordance with the latest policy of LAM Teknik

FST UIN Maliki Malang - (04/11/2025) The Faculty of Science and Technology held an Accreditation Workshop with the theme of “Improving the Quality of Accreditation through LKPS and LED Review according to the Latest LAM Engineering Policy” at FKIK Auditorium, Campus 3 UIN Malang, at 08.00-15.00 WIB. The activity was opened by the Vice Dean I of FST, Prof. Dr. Evika Savitri, M.P., and attended by the Head of Electrical Engineering Department, Dr. Ir. Yunifa Miftachul Arief, M.T., Head of Mechanical Engineering Department, Dr. Ir. Fresy Nugroho, M.T., and all lecturers from both study programs.

The workshop presented resource person Dr. Ir. Widjonarko, S.T., M.T., IPU, ASEAN Eng, who explained important changes in the LAM Engineering accreditation tool, ranging from instrument adjustments, key performance indicators, to strategies for preparing documents that are effective, measurable, and in line with the quality standards of engineering higher education. The main session emphasized strengthening the quality of the Study Program Performance Report (LKPS) and Self Evaluation Report (LED) to be more evidenced-based, consistent, and have an impact on improving tridharma performance.

In addition to the presentation, the agenda also included a review and interactive discussion of the draft LKPS-LED of the Electrical Engineering Study Program and Mechanical Engineering Study Program. Through directed feedback, participants harmonized data, analysis of achievements, and action plans with the latest LAM Engineering policies, so that accreditation documents were more comprehensive and audit-ready.

The implementation of this workshop confirms the commitment of both study programs to improve academic quality and governance, strengthen the culture of sustainable quality, and accelerate the achievement towards Excellent Accreditation. It is expected that the results of strengthening LKPS and LED will have a direct impact on the competitiveness of graduates at the national and international levels, as well as strengthening the contribution of FST UIN Maliki in the ecosystem of engineering higher education.
