
Malang - The Chemistry Study Program again carried out its routine activity entitled Rihlah Qur'ani (14/9). This activity is a routine, monthly agenda, and is one form of the Chemistry Study Program's commitment to fostering spiritual values, strengthening morals, and strengthening the bond between students. ukhuwah among the academic community.
Rihlah Qur'ani is not just a religious forum, but also a forum for friendship and togetherness between students, lecturers, and the management of the study program. This activity is routinely carried out in rotation at the homes of lecturers who are willing to host. In addition to providing a warmer and more familial atmosphere, this rotating system is also a form of active involvement from lecturers in non-academic activities with students.
For this September, Rihlah Qur'ani was held at the residence of Mrs. Suci Amalia. The activity was attended by approximately 30 participants, consisting of student representatives from each generation, lecturers, Head of Study Program, and Chemistry HMPS administrators. The enthusiasm of the participants can be seen from the fairly even attendance, both in terms of students and lecturers.
The event began with the opening and remarks from the Head of Chemistry Study Program, A. Ghanaim Fasya. In his speech, he said that this activity is expected to be a means to balance intellectual and spiritual development. "The importance of building an academic environment that is not only oriented towards scientific achievement, but also accompanied by character building and Islamic values," he said.
The main agenda of the activity includes reading the Qur'an in turn, accompanied by a short study and discussion guided by one of the lecturers. The study focused on values relevant to student life, such as honesty, responsibility, and the importance of maintaining the spirit of learning in the frame of faith.
By holding Rihlah Qur'ani regularly, the Chemistry Study Program hopes that spiritual values can become an integral part of students' academic journey.
